About the owner
I’m Zak Passwaters, a car enthusiast and professional car detailer born and raised in Susanville, California. I started Gunkies Mobile Detailing to deliver two things to every customer: amazing results and excellent service every step of the way. The question I get asked most is where the name “Gunkies” came from. The answer? My nieces, of course! It stuck with my family, and I thought it was so unique, why not use it?

Zak detailed my 2022 Toyota Highlander that was covered in hard water spots from our sprinkler. He spent all day on it and was so kind. At the end, my Highlander looked better than it did the day I drove it off the lot! Highly recommend Gunkies Mobile Detailing and Zak!

Zak did an amazing job on my car! I asked him to give my car the works including getting out some water stains that stained my windows from lawn sprinklers. He spent a ton of time on my car ensuring every detail was covered. My car looks like new I highly recommend for you all to get on his calendar! Help this nice young man get his business going, you will be happy you did!. Thank you again, Zak!

Zac did an amazing job on my mom car! And amazing is an understatement, I walked away with my car that that looked and smelt brand new. I will definitely be going back. If you’re on the edge about booking a car clean do it, it’s definitely worth every penny!
